Hutto (Williamson County) –A Dallas real estate company received a Planned Unit Development (PUD) zoning for an active adult community, at Thursday’s city council meeting.
The 11.7 acre (511,556 square feet) property will be converted to a multi-family (MF).
The proposed site is not developed and is located next to Exchange Boulevard in the central part of the city.
Chalk Hill Ventures, the developer, had previously met with city staff, who noted that “their unique product type would not be able to meet multi-family design standards and density.”
City staff recommended that Chalk Hill Ventures continue zoning the PUD to meet the requirements of the City’s Unified Planning Code for the proposed NorthStar Hutto PUD.
Austin Dove with Sage Architecture, a San Antonio company, posted a sitemap that showed:
- Four three-story buildings with elevators
- A club house
- A rental office
- Fitness center
- Dog park
- 314 surface parking spaces and 52 detached garage parking spaces for a total of 366 spaces
Exterior materials for the buildings will include stucco, metal roof trim, asphalt shingle roof, limestone masonry columns with a building height of 33 feet and 55 feet at the top of the roof.
